Brilliant minds versus fragile minds. So keep in mind I am not a psychologist and this is just simply an observation. So some of the brightest minds I study and follow show a great deal of humility. They word their language carefully and rarely speak in a tone of absolute certainty outside the constraints of applied mathematics and universal truths. They show a great deal of anxiety about their own knowledge, which makes them curious without bias to learn more. Now Now, fragile minds that I tend to know show absolute certainty and speak on non or poorly researched topics and opinions with complete confidence. I see it in my comments all the time, such as, Tell us how the Nashville bombing is related to the SolarWinds hack. It's okay to have beliefs and assumptions. But once assumptions are spoken as if they were undeniable facts, you've gone too far down the rabbit hole, friend.
